Job DescriptionINVENTORY SPECIALIST (NON-EXEMPT) Franklin Sports, Inc. is a leading global sporting goods brand with an extremely rich history and reputation within the industry. The Inventory Specialist role is responsible for providing support to the Inventory Manager and may be required to work overtime hours during the week and on weekends, as needed. This position includes responsibilities for analytical data review, creating reports, Excel Pivot tables and V lookup functions and data mining. This also includes cycle counting and audit support; assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies; and assisting the Inventory Manager in any inventory related research and functions. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the industry and previous inventory and analytical experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment. The position is located in our Memphis Warehouse location and will report to the Inventory Manager. #FranklinFamily DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilizes root cause analysis to locate and correct inventory related process errors, including recommendations to prevent reoccurrence
  • Employs advanced Microsoft Excel skill set in research and reporting
  • Maintains and updates inventory records
  • Reconciles negative inventory balance report daily
  • Performs non-scan location audits and root cause research
  • Performs reverse pick - back to stock and audits for accuracy
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime hours as assigned
  • Other duties or projects as assigned EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
    • 2+ years of advanced inventory analytics strongly preferred
    • 2+ years of applicable work experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent education required SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
      • Advanced computer user skills (MS Office Applications)
      • Previous WMS system experience strongly preferred
      • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
        • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
        • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
        • Willingness and ability to work overtime and different coverage hours as needed
        • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification strongly preferred Level of Responsibility:
          • Provides day-to-day support to Inventory Manager and requires the ability to independently manage their own daily tasks and projects as assigned by management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work will be performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to changing temperatures. While performing the duties of this job, this person is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
