every step of the way.The Analyst, Operations drives continuous
improvements that provide enhanced service, cost reductions and
efficiency improvements in the IPD warehouse operations. The role
analyzes current processes and information to drive corresponding
actions that result in operational improvements. This would include
examining cycle count programs, product storage locations, product
transfers and adjustments related to IPD inventory in the S4 Hana
system. This position also proposes action plans and solutions to
improve the 3PL and company's performance in our most critical
areas while updating senior management.Duties and
ResponsibilitiesOperations Process Improvement
- Lead efforts to optimize warehouse operational efficiency with
system enhancements, internal and external process improvements,
and industry best practice
- Develop, improve, direct, and implement external and internal
operational initiative such as working with our factory and 3rd
party vendors on packaging requirements to support our warehouse
requirements for goods received and pick/pack
- Research and organize project opportunities to increase the IPD
value proposition both internally and externally including
evaluating parts from our equipment that could be a candidate for
outsourcing to reduce customer costs, inbound shipping time and on
hand inventoryOperations Support
- Coordinate with the Technical Service /Operations for the
kitting and other work-related processes that need to be completed
by the group to support our business including providing samples
and written documentation of how the work should be completed and
finished for our end user's purchase
- Work with National Operations when needed to ensure the three
ink agitation machines operate and perform so the white ink
inventory has proper scheduled agitation, including keeping track
of our stock parts for repair and yearly maintenance in the
facility and communicate with the manufacturer as needed
- Support fiscal year inventory with Saddle Creek Logistics,
National Operations and the JSOX teams working with the Garment
Printer/Industrial Sewing Machine service team to identify product
in the used IPD inventory location or floor locations in the
warehouse
- Prepare for and assist with Industrial sewing machine and
Garment tradeshows as needed
- Support IPD leadership and customers by researching issues
supporting miscellaneous business needs in relation to
sales/shipping and inventory
- Work with the factory as needed when requests come in to
resolve possible defects or issues with our stock by returning
these items from our stock back to the factory or into the Shop
area for rework. Coordinate with the factory the invoicing for the
rework or ordering replacement parts or machines with the
appropriate team membersQUALIFICATIONSEducation - - - - - - - - - -

- Experience in supporting customers for business-to-business
products
- Operations experience analyzing data and working with
cross-functional teams in a fast-paced sales division or operations
environmentSoftware/Technical Skills Required:
- MS Excel (Advanced)
- SAP transaction authorization and ability to initiate product
movement for the team and customers (Advanced)
- Knowledge of OSVC Service Cloud Customer Service Software
(Intermediate)
- MS Office-Outlook, Word, Power Point (Intermediate)Other
