Job Description:
Do you have a love of Basketball? We are seeking an experienced
and organized Sales Representative to join our team in the athletic
flooring industry. The Sales Representative will be responsible for
initiating contact with clients, creating tailored-fit proposals,
and negotiating sales contracts. The successful candidate will have
excellent communication skills and the ability to travel to
assigned territories to directly meet with potential and current
clients to discuss their requirements, needs and tour facilities.
Providing knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable
business decisions. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Develop and implement a sales strategy to generate new business and
maintain existing accounts Inside and outside sale opportunities
through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails as
well as in person sales calls to existing and new customers
Creating new opportunities with current and new customers. Grow
existing customer base and opportunities within the mid-south.
Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas. Research accounts,
identify key players and grow relationships. Maintain and expand
database of prospects within the mid-south. Participate in trade
shows, lunch and learns as requested. Prepare and present proposals
and quotes that meet customer requirements and company standards
Contact all new installs within 60 days of completion (or upon
staff/faculty taking ownership of school/facility) Update contact
information for customers Field office calls regarding service or
installs Cold calls for new business opportunities Site visits as
requested/required Create job set-ups / folders Create estimates
for Screen and Recoats Maintain and build good working relationship
with all manufacturers, subcontractors, architects, clients
Understand the product line inside and out for the flooring
industry Attend pre-bid meetings as assigned Stay up to date on
industry information, labor costs, material costs and adjust the
estimating program as needed Visit jobsites as required Work with
Accounting for all contract and billing requirements Attend weekly
meetings to provide data-driven updates Answers routine client
questions and corresponds with subcontractors, trade partners, and
others. Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and generate
repeat business Qualifications Proven inside and outside sales
experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business
development. Track record of over-achieving quota Strong phone
presence and experience making calls and developing relationships
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Outgoing, highly communicative, good negotiator, forward-thinking.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Extremely detailed for estimates and proposals Strong analytical
and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Valid
driver's license and reliable transportation Employment Type: Full
